We purchased the AIDir.co.uk domain, recognising that as AI adoption explodes across UK businesses, there is a massive need for a centralised place to find AI services, tools, talent, and resources.

The Problem

The UK AI market is experiencing explosive growth, but finding the right AI services, talent, or products should be much easier. Our analysis shows:

Fragmented Discovery: If you're a business looking for AI consulting, you'll search Google and find generic business directories mixing everything together. Want to hire an AI developer? We will specialise in finding you the right people. Looking for AI courses? We will list the latest and most popular.

Poor Search Relevance: Traditional keyword search fails for AI services. Search for "machine learning consulting in Manchester" on existing directories and you'll get poor results - national chains, irrelevant listings, and businesses that don't actually specialise in what you need. Generic directories can't understand the nuance of AI service queries.

The AI Search Revolution: More and more people are asking ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity to recommend businesses instead of scrolling through Google results. But most UK businesses aren't optimised for this - they're missing opportunities as search behaviour evolves.

Market Gap: Despite the UK AI sector attracting billions in investment and thousands of businesses offering AI services, there's no dominant UK-focused AI directory. Every existing option is either too broad (all industries, not AI-specific), too narrow (just products or just jobs), or focused on global markets without a local UK context.
